Toquero Sport was born from the experience and vision of Gaizka Toquero, a soccer player with more than a decade in the Spanish soccer elite.
This professional trajectory, together with the knowledge acquired from some of the best coaches in the world, translates today into several main areas of activity: high performance academy, where we develop a unique methodology; presence in the media as an expert analyst, consulting services to clubs and the organization of top level sporting events.

Work, perseverance, dedication, loyalty… Gaizka Toquero’s career is a good example of how through effort and perseverance a soccer player can achieve his goals and progress until he fulfills his dream.
The career of the striker from Vitoria (Vitoria, Alava, Basque Country 1984) has Deportivo Alaves as its common denominator, where he began to take his first steps in soccer in the infantile and cadet teams to later make the leap to Alaves C and B after passing through the youth teams of CD Ariznabarra and Real Sociedad.
Sociedad Deportiva Lemona and Sestao River were his springboard to make a place for himself in the elite, where he joined Athletic Club in 2008. A brief loan spell at Eibar was the prelude to his best moment as a footballer. With Athletic he reached the final of the 2009 Copa del Rey – he scored the only goal for Bilbao – and the Spanish Super Cup, as well as the final of the Europa League and again the 2012 Cup, in addition to making his debut in the Champions League.
207 games and 25 goals later, Toquero left Athletic in 2015 to return to his beloved Deportivo Alavés. His participation was key to the team’s return to the First Division. A stage that lasted two years and led to his signing for Real Zaragoza, where after one season and forced by an injury he had to end his career.
